2 Minute Activist

Welcome to the 2 minute activist page! For some time, the base message of my blog has been that real, average, people must get engaged in the legislative process, and that means more than going into a polling place once a year and pulling a lever. However, as many people become frustrated with the status quo, and want things to change, they become either frustrated, overwhelmed or usually both, since change is slow and at times, it doesn’t seem like it is happening at all!

So, the point of the 2 minute activist is to present short (no more than 2 minute) video clips, with suggestions of ways you can spend just a few minutes everyday, helping to generate the change needed around us. Just a few minutes a day!

Now, not all activism can happen quite that fast, but my point is that if we each spend just a few minutes a day, we can together make a huge difference, especially over the long term. So, take a deep breath and prepare to start taking action for a few minutes, everyday. Do’t get frustrated, don’t be impatient, just stay focused on doing a few things every single day, and we will see progress. Ready? Watch for the first video clip soon!
