The linked story is from yesterday, and is about a 9 year old boy who has organized a Marriage Equality rally! Â Well worth reading! For all of my over-10-year-old readers: what’s up? Â If this kid and decide to take action for something, how about the rest of us? My suggestion? While rallies can be useful, take some time to go and meet with your legislator, and get them on-board with whatever equal rights issue is on your radar. For me in Pennsylvania, it is HB 300. A bill to provide equal protections in housing, employment, and public accommodations by adding sexual orientation and gender identity and expression to the existing state nondiscrimination protections.
