We May Lose Maine Unless
We may lose Maine unless two things happen over the next two days. First, the No on 1 campaign has n money to keep the media blitz going and it is critically important towards assuring a win for marriage equality. Earlier news stories about how the No on 1 campaign had raised more than the anti- gay side created a false sense of wealth. Then, the anti- gay forces raied a considerable amount of money in the last week which has allowed them to barrage the media with misinformation and lies. The No on 1 campaign needs your donations, ASAP to complete in these last days.
Second, we need a large turnout of liberal and moderate voters in the election itself. Anything you can do to assist in getting voters to the polls can make a difference.
A loss in Maine will be catastrophic for gay, lesbian, bisexual , and transgender rights in general, but crippling for Marriage Equality battles everywhere.
Wherever you are, there is something you can do to help make Maine a victory for Equality! On election day, we need to say No on 1!
