Santorum’s position doesn’t place all Catholics at odds with the Constitution. He does however place the institution of the Roman Catholic Church as the enemy of the First Amendment.

Most folks are talking about this Obama comment as if it were directed at Obama, and I think that is missing quite a bit. Yes, Santorum wants to take a swipe at the President, but I think he is also taking a swipe at Mitt Romney who is a Mormon.
If you didn’t come out and strongly support Democrats in the last election, ask yourself, if things are better for you today, or headed in the wrong direction. Then think carefully about what will happen if we elect a far right radical like Santorum to the presidency.
This is making the rounds under the title, “Santorum has a Google Problem,” but I don’t think that is really accurate. Politicians like Santorum will now use that Tea Party momentum, but will have no problem being direct in his “values” messages. It is going to be a pretty bumpy ride.
