Sam Rohrer, who ran against Tom Corbett for the Republican Party spot in the PA governor’s race, may still end up on the ballot- as a write-in candidate. For many (31% of those who cast a vote in the primary) Tom Corbett isn’t conservative enough, nor a pure enough conservative, and now, efforts are underway by many in the Tea Party movement to get Rohrer elected via a write-in campaign.
An effort like this is real democracy in action! The voters themselves can make known their desire for the candidate. I am looking forward to following the effort to see how well they can do.
The candidate or candidates (if you count write-ins) will be up against Allegheny County Executive, Dan Onorato in the November election.
Corbett can't be trusted to be anything that he says he is or to do anything that he says he will do. Onorato is too far to the left. Only choice for conservatives = write-in SAM ROHRER. Write it in block letters so the cheats in the elections office can't refuse to count the write-in votes completely and correctly.
