Last week, I posted some comments about Glee, Kurt, and the anti-bullying episode. I used a post from the Huffington Post as my departure point, and I appreciated the dialogue that grew from that. While Leah, who wrote in HuffPo and I may see some things a bit differently, all of the ideas are important, and I value the willingness of anyone to offer their ideas.
Today, I see that Max Adler, the guy who plays the jock who bullied Kurt, has a Youtube video as part of the “It Gets Better” project. Â I’m linking to it here. There are no shortage of important issues facing LGBT people, but the way LGBT youth are bullied, battered, isolated and deprived unconditional love and acceptance is one of the most significant issues facing us. More important than perhaps any other issue! I’m glad to see Max’s message, and all of the messages that I hope is spreading the word, that it does get better.
