Saw a post about this over on Americablog, but the quote below comes from the source at Politico.com. In the quote, the emphasis is mine:

I’m a big (Ru)Paul fan, and believe his shows do amazing things. Today, too many in the LGBT community treat drag as if it were just silly or something to be ashamed of. Thanks RuPaul for stepping out there and working’ it!
