On Thursday morning last week, I met Ed Gainey to talk about LGBT issues. This was our third conversation over the past few months, and he made time for me, as he spent the morning at the East Liberty bus way station shaking hands and meeting other constituents. I’d urge every vioter in the 24th district to consider ED Gainey as they enter the polls on Tuesday morning. Here are the reasons, I’m supporting him:

• He is passionate and ehthusiastic about being a public servant and doing what it takes to support and work for his comminuty.
• He understands the connections between economic development and building a strong residential community.
• He values and respects everyone’s rights, including members of the LGBTQ community.
• He is veery comfortable being vocal about the things he finds to be important.
