Last night, I rummaged through my clothes closet for a T-shirt I have kept many, many years. I’m guessing it dates to 1986 -or 87. A handful of T-shirts were made to publicize Divine’s coming to do a show at the old Pegasus Lounge on Liberty Avenue.I was dating Rick, a bartender there at that time if my memory serves correct.

I have always thought Divine was amazing.  A true superstar performer, even if she never had the type of name or brand recognition of a Madonna or a Cher. So my ReelQ pick for today is the film, “I am Divine” screening this evening at the Pittsburgh LGBT Film Festival. Here’s the trailer:
