Equality PA is reporting that PA Senator Pat Toomey voted today with the majority to help make employment nondiscrimination the law of the land. Toomey is often considered a Tea Party Republican, but in this case has voted on the right side of history.  If you were one of the more than 4000 constituents who contacted Toomey’s office, Thank you. And now, take a moment to thank Senator Toomey. Call his office, send him an email, or even better- send him a short handwritten note. A handwritten note will definitely makes its way into his hands, where the email will probably not.

The struggle isn’t over yet and now focus must turn to the House of Representatives. Speaker Boehner may not allow the bill to come up for a vote. After thanking Senator Toomey, howe about contact your Representative and encourage him or her to support the passage of a fully inclusive ENDA.
