For two days (which seem like a million) THE GAY EVERYTHING has been all a buzz about Eminem who, as the claim goes, came out. Anyone who wonders why we are making so little progress towards full Equality, need to look no further. We as a LGBTQ community are failing on the full equality front, because there are too many utter imbeciles in our midst, and who care more about trumpeting something fictitious, as if it were real. Look at Facebook, look at Twitter. For Crissakes- look at Huffington Post Gay Voices!

So, we might just as well give up on ever expecting full equality, because too many of us are totally crazy stupid people who get obsessed by every little sparkly thing. There is no way to find the brain power necessary for real political breakthroughs, because there isn’t enough within the LGBTQ community.

I’m blaming James Franco who I’m sure is truly falling on the floor laughing his ass off. He is truly the King (or Queen?) of gay baiting, and he has proven it again, just in case we did’t get the memo last time. Here’s a snip from the linked SE Smith post:

So what is really going on here? I’d suggest an effort to publicize a film that isn’t that good to begin with, but why should a bad film not try and capitalize on some queer buzz generated and perpetuated by the faggot minions?

Franco, I love you and hate you. I think you are brilliant and intoxicatingly offensive, but not in a hateful way. Offensive isn’t the right word. Frustrating in that lovable kind of way that should piss us all off, but just makes us want you more. You are the quintessential cock tease.

All of this coverage simply republishes the same thing, a clip of a movie showing a clip of an interview (wait- isn’t the film called THE INTERVIEW). And here, we thought it was really about an interview with the North Korean leader.  Silly, stupid people. It isn’t like this republished stuff is lying. It just is what it is. How many people are going to rush and download the film just to see Emenem’s coming out? I bet many!

Now, if we could just get that much buzz about real Equality, maybe we could change the world!
