Election Day is quickly approaching, and one reason people don’t vote in every election is that they are unsure where their polling place may be. It is a place you only go twice a year, and if you haven’t been voting, it is easy to just keep on not voting because you don’t know where to go.
But we need your vote in every election if we are going to have a government of the people and by the people. In the last general election, fewer than half of all eligible adults voted, and the majority of those who did get to the polls were conservatives. If every registered democrat turned out to vote, the conservatives wouldn’t be in charge everywhere!
Here’s a link to a simple web tool that helps you find your polling place. If you don’t know where to vote, PLEASE use it and turn out on election day, next week!
