PA is promoting a rally/day in Harrisburg. This is from their email campaign:
Nondiscrimination legislation is moving fast in Harrisburg, and we need your help. As you know, we have been working to pass comprehensive nondiscrimination protections that include employment, housing, and public accommodation, but the opposition is out in full force to stop us.
It’s time to get loud. We need every single voice on June 22 in Harrisburg to say that LGBT people deserve to be able to build a life for themselves in our state free from discrimination. A majority of Pennsylvanians support this legislation and Harrisburg needs to know that.
Please join us for a Day of Action for a #FairPA. Sign up here:

Make no mistake, when a government treats one group of people differently under the law, they empower those who have hate in their hearts to feel justified in many actions from turning someone away at a restaurant to committing violence. All people deserve to be treated fairly and equally, and it is past time to update our laws to protect lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people from discrimination.
The importance of comprehensive protections can not be overstated. Currently, PA Republicans have broken down protections into three separate bills: one for employment; one for housing; and one for public accommodations. The concern is that they will readily pass the first two and never bring the public accommodations legislation up for a vote. To do so would leave trans* persons who are the most at risk for problems, unprotected in the ways needed most. Republicans will claim that they have done so much for the LGBTQ community, when in fact they have done too little.
We must see full and inclusive protections that cover all LGBTQ Pennsylvanians, and anything less isn’t enough!
This is where you come in. Your voice is needed to push for these comprehensive protections. It is YOU who can demand that all Pennsylvanians have full protections and that public accommodations are not left unaccomplished.
