Monday evening is the next QUILTBAG meeting, and I’m excited to see this group continue to form, coalesce, and build a new way for queer individuals and organizations to work together and support each other. Few efforts have begun in here in Pittsburgh that are as important as this one, when it comes to shaping the next generation of cooperation and activism surrounding LGBTQ/QUILTBAG as a community.

Saw this pic on the Occupy Pittsburgh Facebook wall, and it seemed a good reminder for QUILTBAG as well, although this is a group which is already doing a pretty good job of respectful sharing and communication. We are all products of the hierarchical system in which we live and so together we are all learning how to communicate differently.
