Will you attend the party or the protest?

Blogger’s note: Since I began writing this post, the protest effort has morphed into planning for an alternative e Pride called Roots Pride Pittsburgh.  If you missed it, there is a great post over at Pittsburgh Lesbian Correspondents, about the Delta Foundation’s finances. I’d encourage you to check it out. The author paints a clear picture of how the supposed goals of the group and their activities don’t seem to be aligned. I want to[Read More…]

Is the Wizard of Oz behind the Delta Foundation facade?

Is the Wizard of Oz behind the Delta Foundation facade?

An interview with Tom Lenk.

An interview with Tom Lenk.

The next production at Pittsburgh Public Theater is a hilarious comedy that you don’t want to miss. Hiatus to Continue for a Few More Weeks

Thanks to all those still visiting the blog for being readers, and hang around till I get back to posting regularly.

Indiana and discrimination: Is this the beginning of gay segregation?

Time will tell how these laws pan out. Some believe they will be ruled unconstitutional, others see a very long road ahead to undo the damage they are now doing. Time will tell.

Male Privilege 101

Male Privilege 101

This Philadelphia Magazine article is a must read for anyone who struggles to understand the concept of privilege and especially male privilege. The other day, I had a discussion on Whisper (I know, not a bastion for level headed dialogue) with someone who thought feminism was just a fancy word for female whining about men. We sent cordial, respectful, and honest messages back and forth for quite a while as they finally came around and[Read More…]
