The GLSEN board of directors has voted and is now working with the national office on a transition process to cease operations. The idea is that organizations with paid staff and adequate support can better meet the needs of LGBTQIA youth.

It isn’t a new criticism for Delta– that persons of color are overlooked and/or ignored. But to some, this latest effort feels like a slap in the face. Does Delta deserve the criticism?

As most of my regular readers know, I put the blog on hiatus, a few weeks ago, and the plan was to take eight weeks away from blogging and social media. I am feeling more ready to return earlier than that, but not quite yet, so the hiatus will continue for now. Thanks to all those still visiting the blog for being readers, and hang around till I get back to posting regularly.
Time will tell how these laws pan out. Some believe they will be ruled unconstitutional, others see a very long road ahead to undo the damage they are now doing. Time will tell.
