The Initiative for Transgender Leadership in Pittsburgh has kicked off an innovative and exciting program which pairs trans youth with mentors and they are still accepting youth registrants for the program. Across the rainbow coalition of Pittsburgh’s LGBTQ community, action has begun in response to last week’s gay bashing in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh with various organizations and individuals stepping forward and being proactive in a number of ways.

Fall means it is time for the Pittsburgh Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. You have few opportunities to be exposed to this many varied and interesting films.
