Is this racial stereotyping or Eugenics in action?
Is NOM implying that like race heterosexual marriages allow for racial purity from grandparents down to grandchildren? Or is it simply more crass race-bating?

A Kentucky teacher is being criticized for writing a politically charged statement on the whiteboard in class. South Laurel County High School teacher Kendra Baker is drawing complaints from parents and students after she wrote, “You can’t be a democrat and go to heaven.” Superintendent Doug Bennett told the Sentinel-Echo that the class had been discussing politics around election day, and Baker wrote the statement — which is reportedly a student comment — on the[Read More…]
The take-home message must be that a future of Equality won’t come because of how we rally and demand for our President to act. It won’t be created by those who feel they are keeping The President’s feet to the fire to push change. It will only come about with throngs of people of every age bracket, color, race, and every other descriptor doing the ground work and creating cultural change across the country. We must too, work to hold our elected officials accountable, but the real work if the ground work: each and every one of us must be an active participant instead of a passive observer.
These are the methods of organizing people within which they believe they have power. Therefore, their every effort is devoted to protecting these two structures. This is why a fight for LGBT Rights is a moral fight for them, and winning over LGBT Rights is more important than anything else. The Gay Groom has a blog post last week about Grindr, sparked by the comments, earlier this week, made by Paris Hilton. Honestly, I saw the headlines in my RSS reader about Hilton, and simply ignored them as there was too much else going on, with my partner having surgery, work being busy, and there being a plethora of stuff to be ready for the November election. So, I enjoyed reading a lighter take by[Read More…]
The Ninth Circuit was not really asked if it as a whole body supports Prop 8 or not. It was merely asked if it wanted to re-hear the appeal. The reason it would re-hear the appeal would be if, a majority of the judges felt that the both sides had not had a fair trail in the first appeal before the three judge panel. Today’s actions merely mean that the whole court, or a majority of the 26 justices believed that the three panel judgement was fair, reasoned and based on sound judicial principles.
