I have commemorated Word AIDS Dayu every year in some fashion or another from way back when we held this day as the #DayWithOutArt to signify and symbolize the devastation being caused by this epidemic.
Quite a bit of my early artwork dealt with HIV/AIDS or what it was like to be a gay man living within the era of the pandemic- what seemed like government sanctioned genocide by inaction. More of my artwork is at tcwaters.com
