There are many wonderful singer/songwriter/musicians out in the GLBTQ community, however, one of my favorite is Tom Goss. A few days ago, I received a note from him, and wanted to post it here for you.
To date, 13,389 men and women have been fired from their jobs in the military because they are gay or lesbian. Â Now, because of the hard work of men and women in the Sevicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) we are close to overturning this unjust policy. Â But we are not there yet.
Matt Alber and I were on tour in Febuary when the news about this was most heavy, we met with some discharged servicemembers, heard their stories and wrote a song about it. Â 100% of the donated proceeds from “Who We Are” goes directly to SLDN.
