I blogged about this movie screening last week, and I am planning on going to Kittanning to see the film, s I was surprised when I received word, that the library where the screening will happen had been threatened. The documentary’s director, Joe Wilson, told me that this hasn’t happened anywhere else, for any screening of the film.
On the one hand, anonymous phone threats are simply cowardly acts. On the other hand, the attempt to intimidate an organization in an effort to thwart free speech and the open sharing of ideas , is country to everything that makes our country what it is.
