AZ Governor Takes Away State Domestic Partner Benefits Says ‘God Has Placed Me in This Powerful Position’

So, the new Republican governor of Arizona, didn’t stop with simply trying to force all the latinos out of the state, she, in a move similar to Virginia, has also taken away the domestic partnership benefits that used to exist there. If you need a reason to elect a democrat in Pennsylvania, look no further than what is happen in state after state across the country where Republicans are gaining power.

Virginia and Arizona are two states where governors are acting, while Texas is a state doing the same “christianizing” through the Board of Education. There is nothing wrong with Christianity nor most Christians, but when our elected officials are taking actions to remove rights from people because “God placed me in this powerful position,” there is a really big problem.

People will disagree about which democratic candidate is the right person to be governor, and each of the candidates running can make a meaningful list of their credentials. All of them can do this. We must however look at not only these credentials, but also at what it will take for a Democrat to beat the Republican candidate, who is most likely Tom Corbett.
