GLEC has been functioning as a professional networking organization that also has some social events. I’ve been to the meeting a number of times, and it is always a great group of folks. Over the years, there have been a few groups which have intended to be a professional networking group, but I think GLEC has come the closest to really making that work for the participants. This year, GLEC is taking this mission a step farther. On National Coming Out Day, October 11th, GLEC Â is sponsoring their 1st Annual Jobs, Services, and Organizations Fair.
In some regards, Pittsburgh has an enormous such “fair” every year at Pittsburgh Pride, but this addition to the offerings for LGBT folks in Pittsburgh is a wonderful opportunity not only for the businesses, and organizations but for the LGBT community too. Hope to see you there!
