Yes, I realize that Pelosi is still speaker. I believe the point however is about making sure that the new speaker remains tuned into what the election was all about i.e jobs. The GOP seems to have already forgotten given that they gave decided that adding 700 bullion to the deficit to help the 1% richest Americans seems to be their top priority.
