OK, so this is way off topic for me, but these types of things really get me interested, and so I have to post about this.

Science bloggers are going a bit nuts over the vague announcement by NASA on Monday that it will discuss an “astrobiology finding that will impact the search for evidence of extraterrestrial life.”

Some writers and bloggers are speculating that it could be a discovery on Mars, which has been under intense study by the Rover since 2004. Others seem to think it will be an announcement regarding one of Saturn’s moons, either Titan or Rhea.

So, my take on the issue of being gay and what the Bible says is this: The Bible has been proved wrong by Science before, such as when Science proved that the Earth isn’t the center of the solar system. Organized Religion (i.e. the Church) doesn’t like to accept that it has been wrong, but over time, it finally does. I believe we are still truly infants when it comes to our understanding of Life, Creation and Human Genetics. I have no doubt that there will be some moment in the future when Science will be able to explain entirely why there are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender persons, and Religion once again will have to admit it had it wrong the whole time.

Things like this NASA announcement are reminders of how much we have to learn about the whole of what has been created.
