The link is to a video on the New York Times and I think it is a “must watch,” for everyone. While the far right religious crazies are worried about who is showering with whom in the military, these two guys are displaying the (a??) true meaning of Christmas. What would you do, if you found yourself receiving Santa’s mail?

While Santa may seem contrary to the meaning of the season (i.e. the birth of a baby named Jesus), in reality, both are stories of hope and the willingness to ask that grows from that hope.

I’m not ashamed to say the video made me cry, and re-affirmed my belief in Hope, Christmas, and the goodness of people. There aren’t many holiday gifts better than that!
