Earlier today, I commented on some foolish homophobic post about the recent changed in California Law to allow children to use the restroom that aligns to their gender identity. The homophones call these types of legislation, “bathroom bills,” and always characterize the problem as boys going into the girls restroom. Then I saw this story which is really remarkable:

A new German law stipulates that children who are born of indeterminate gender no longer have to be categorized as “male” or “female.” Instead, parents can choose to leave the space blank on their child’s birth certificate, according to German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung. Here is the post I was referring to about the California law, and here is my favorite quote from it:

“You need to speak up and speak the biblical worldview, not in an abusive way,” Laursen told OneNewsNow.com. “They’re ambassadors of Christ, so they need to show love, compassion and grace. But they don’t need to bow, or curtsy if you will, to an absurd and obscene law.”

By Biblical worldview, they mean the Book of Genesis trumps Science.
