The Allegheny County Bar Association LGBT Rights Committee is offering a program, “Translating Transgender Issues: Understanding the Challenges Faced by Transgender Pennsylvanians” on Thursday, June 9 from 4:00 – 7:00 at the Omni William Penn. This is from the email I received:

We are fortunate to have the participation of PA Physician General Dr. Rachel Levine, TLDEF Executive Director Michael D. Silverman, Rep. Dan Frankel and Maryellen Madden, Of Counsel at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney.

The program is being cosponsored by the YLD Diversity Committee and the Health Law Section. The deadline for registering for the program is tomorrow, but if we know by COB Monday that people want to attend, we should be fine. There is a nominal $10 charge for non-lawyers to help defray the cost of the reception. You can RSVP by emailing Alysia Keating at akeating@acba.org
