Why We Should Get Married

But even though same-sex civil marriage is relatively new, men and women have been forming and maintaining relationships for a long, long time. The Threat Facing America

But ideas such as these two represent- seeking an end to civil rights protections and comparing Obama to Nazi Germany go far beyond the expression of diverse viewpoints. They move us toward a direction where truth has no meaning

AG Tom Corbett: Citizens Deserve No Civil Rights

If you need any indication as to what type of governor Tom Corbett will be, just look at how he is currently acting as Attorney General, when it comes to the civil rights of individuals: Tom Corbett, current Attorney General of the state of Pennsylvania and Gubernatorial Candidate, has subpoenaed Twitter to appear as a Grand Jury witness to “testify and give evidence regarding alleged violations of the laws of Pennsylvania”. Rohrer Supporters to Push Corbett to the Right

Democrats will be utterly crazy if they express any difficulty aligning behind Dan Onorato, especially those who seek more a progressive social agenda. Because between Onorato and Corbett, they have an enormous amount to lose in these areas if Corbett is elected.

Fueled mostly by lies about Health Care Reform and a desire for lower taxes, the Tea Party movement  has been a mixture of astro-turf, raw frustration, and manipulation. Deemed “astro-turf” because[Read More…]

Hawaii: What Gay and Lesbian Couples Deserve

I think this could be a turning point in the marriage equality battle. If she vetoes it, then it is clear, that it isn’t really “marriage” opponents are trying to protect. Their efforts are a blatant attack on the rights of gay and lesbian individuals to form meaningful and protected relationships.
