Especially as I sit in QUILTBAG meetings, I realize that this younger generation of activists have all the right motivations and passion, but in many ways are re-inventing the wheel all over, sometimes spinning their wheels. Got me wondering if there were any great boks out there to help articulate the lessons learned from ACT UP or other grass roots movements.

Gay community apologizes to Amy Koch for ruining her marriage – Minneapolis News – The Blotter

Is Gingrich anti-US Constitution?
Gingrich is a danger to the American people, not only because he is at war with Islam, but because, he can not distinguish the divisions between the Constitution, and Religious Law in general.

PA HB 934 is a discriminatory, unnecessary, and costly effort that will limit access to vote by many Pennsylvanians, and now it has passed out of the Senate Government committee. Will Pennsylvania make it harder to vote?
Today, the PA Senate is due to take up HB 934, a Voter ID bill which many claim is a big government program looking to solve a problem that doesn’t exist. Those on the left accuse Republican led efforts in a number of states of being a push to repress the vote in next year’s Presidential election.
