But what about a constitutional convention? The only way that all of the voters get the same level of voice is if the convention included 100% of the voters. Which would be impossible. So, by the very nature of the convention, some people do not have a voice while others get to make decisions that impact those who have been silenced.
Corbett may be running on being a good prosecutor, but that doesn’t really give him the credentials needed to be the State’s highest ranking executive. Dan Onorato supports a far wider range of change that will not only improve the ability for our government to be representative of the people, but will lower costs, and fight corruption.

But even though same-sex civil marriage is relatively new, men and women have been forming and maintaining relationships for a long, long time. We should be getting married to make visible these relationships- as one more way of being out of the closet and visible, not just as individuals but as couples and families.
But ideas such as these two represent- seeking an end to civil rights protections and comparing Obama to Nazi Germany go far beyond the expression of diverse viewpoints. They move us toward a direction where truth has no meaning

Allegheny County councilman, Matt Drozd is looking to treat the Democratic and Republican candidates for governor differently. He has introduced an ordinance to make Dan Onorato step down while running for governor, but doesn’t feel the same should apply to to the Republican challenger.
Democrats will be utterly crazy if they express any difficulty aligning behind Dan Onorato, especially those who seek more a progressive social agenda. Because between Onorato and Corbett, they have an enormous amount to lose in these areas if Corbett is elected.
Dan Onorato never ran as a hero. He ran as a candidate with experience managing a large county government and helping that county do well through very tough times.
