As most of my regular readers know, I put the blog on hiatus, a few weeks ago, and the plan was to take eight weeks away from blogging and social media. I am feeling more ready to return earlier than that, but not quite yet, so the hiatus will continue for now. Thanks to all those still visiting the blog for being readers, and hang around till I get back to posting regularly.
Time will tell how these laws pan out. Some believe they will be ruled unconstitutional, others see a very long road ahead to undo the damage they are now doing. Time will tell.

Franco has identity (how a person self identifies), orientation (one’s biological/organic predisposition), and expression (one’s gender presentation in relation to gender norms) mixed up and treating them s if they are one and the same thing.
Many people within the LGBTQ movement can be seen as hindering progress towards full equality every bit as much as Dolce and Gabbana.
At some point, we will have a calculation a little more complex than pi perhaps, which helps us describe sexual orientation in the way pi helps us describe a perfect circle. We aren’t there yet. Science isn’t there yet, and the calculation hasn’t yet been worked out, but in time, it will.
Even on days when I’m barely breathing, I think it is an extremely small price to have paid to still be alive! I have lived and am continuing to live such a tremendous and exciting and rewarding journey, and I shudder at how quickly and easily my life almost ended because I wanted it to stop.
