If he is gay, it is hypocrisy and should be called out, and truly outed, but doing it with facts and proof, rather than hearsay and belittling jokes. Really calling him out is holding him accountable, and there is no part of that which is bullying. But mentioning hearsay, and calling someones’s instagram “gay,” well that may be bullying.

Pittsburgh is a great city because we are not simply a collection of neighborhoods and communities, but because together, in concert with one another we are greater than the sum of the parts.
The Washington gay scene as well as the political arena in general has been complicit before in protecting closet cases, and that can not be tolerated any longer. Does that include making public information that illustrates what is being called hypocrisy?
Let’s be honest- this idea is just a new way to hide the fact that some are treating gay male sex as bad and evil. Same-sex marriage is gender neutral but this HIV prevention scam i wall about hating gay male sex or pretending that it is acceptable, only if it fits into an archaic heterosexual model that doesn’t work.
Sure, campaigns need cash to survive, but why is it than the truth isn’t enough to encourage giving? From my perspective, this is what’s wrong with politics- at least in part. The electorate, is seen as a source of income only- a group of mindless people who can be lured with false statements and a plea. Really? I don’t think so.
In 2014, one of the most important things we can all do to move LGBTQ Rights forward is to be willing to contemplate and adjust our own perspectives and try to see things with another viewpoint. How are our own rules and expectations constructed from our own individual experiences and what are our own blind spots to accepting and promoting diversity and respect for others who are different from us?
The attitudes expressed in support of Robertson’s bigotry illustrate how racism, homophobia,and selfishness are interwoven. This is the battlefield upon which the culture war is being fought.
In other words, [the 1st amendment] isn’t about what people can and can not do, but rather what the government can and can not do- an extremely important distinction.
