A form on the Pittsburgh Pride web site, seeking your input fore a theme for the 2015 Pride. Delta is giving everyone a choice to self identify in whatever way feels right to them. Choices are offered for gender identity, and also for sexual orientation In terms of the theme choices, I think I can make a case fore every single one of them!

Equal, was never intended to be journalism, but rather a marketing piece for a sole non-profit organization.
For me, few activists are as inspirational as Bayard Rustin, and I believe todays LGBTQ movement, must look towards individuals such as Rustin, if we are going to successfully navigate the next steps towards real respect, and equality.
However, they all serve as inspiration to me, to keep doing what I do. If they could be so inspirational and motivating facing such oppression and invisibility within either the African-american community, the LGBT community or both, then why would I see the little struggles I face as a hindrance to demanding change?
