At least Madonna and Young acknowledge that the two candidates have dramatically opposing ideas, platforms and philosophies. Too bad they spend their time talking about BS instead of the real issues facing the state.
Corbett has already made clear that once elected he will push for a constitutional amendment in the PA constitution that will make marriage as being only between one man and one woman, and the general consensus is that if he wins, the Republicans will also win the House, and he will have little trouble getting the constitutional amendment through both the Senate and House quickly, setting the stage for a battle at the ballot box in 2 years.
I tend to think the approach of confronting the “change argument” is also the wrong way to go. With no real way to prove either way that it is or isn’t a choice (to be gay), the real problem is overlooked entirely.
